A Beaver County couple were found dead in their home this morning, possibly the result of a murder-suicide, investigators said.

Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi said the preliminary determination of murder-suicide is pending results of autopsies to be conducted later today.

The husband and wife, both elderly, had lived alone in the home in the 1000 block of Chapel Road in Center.

Home health care personnel visiting the residence to treat the woman found the bodies at about 9 a.m. and called 911, the coroner said.
