Audrey Tautou stars in the story of the headstrong orphan who ultimately became the legendary couturier and symbol of success, freedom and style. Tautou, who grows to resemble Chanel by movie's end, wears the fashions well and allows us to see her thinking -- adapting, copying, inventing -- which is no small task. All in all, a beautifully shot movie that celebrates an icon not to the manor born.
A corrosively cynical thriller about a brilliant sociopath (Gerard Butler) who orchestrates, from his jail cell, a series of high-profile murders that grip Philadelphia. Jamie Foxx is the prosecutor assigned to his case. The premise is intriguing but the execution, from director F. Gary Gray, is more torture porn than thriller at times.
"Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever": A grisly date with death at the prom.
"The Shooter Series: Volume 2 -- Director F. Gary Gray" : Music videos by Jay-Z, Outkast, R. Kelly, Cypress Hill and more.
Kids: "Shaun the Sheep: A Woolly Good Time"
TV on DVD: "Barnaby Jones: The First Season"; "The Spectacular Spider-Man," volumes 6 and 7.
