A man was shot twice in the leg tonight in what police are calling a home invasion in Carrick.

The man was taken to UPMC Mercy where his condition was unknown, but police said his wounds were not life-threatening.

He was shot before 8 p.m. when someone burst into a home in the 100 block of Santron Street and fired. The man might have known his assailant.

No arrests have been made.
