FOR CHILDREN

Nottingham -- Washington County Department of Parks & Recreation will have an outdoor scavenger hunt for children ages 3 to 5, with adult accompaniment, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 2-3 at Shelter 1 in Mingo Creek County Park. Cost is $1 per child. Advance registration is required at 724-228-6867.

HOSPITALS

Carroll -- A class in adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Monongahela Valley Hospital.

• A diabetes self-management class will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

• Scheduled for Thursday, is an ice cream social by the hospital's auxiliary at 11 a.m. and an infant and child CPR course at 6 p.m. Call 724-258-1000.
