A Ross mother and son were indicted by a federal grand jury yesterday for using stolen identities to buy treasury bonds.
Mary Lu Frankovic, 56, and her son, Christopher Frankovic, 33, of Ross, took another person's name and Social Security number to forge nine $1,000 U.S. Treasury savings bonds, according to the indictment.
The federal government also accuses Ms. Frankovic of opening several credit card accounts with the victim's name and other forms of identification to make purchases.
