A 31-year-old man who was shot in the chest Monday night on the North Side died yesterday.
Pittsburgh homicide detectives are still investigating what led Jason Glenn, of McKees Rocks, to the intersection of Sandusky and Hemlock streets, where he was shot about 9:45 p.m.
"We're trying to figure out why he was there and who he was with," Lt. Dan Herrmann said yesterday.
Mr. Glenn was taken to nearby Allegheny General Hospital, where he died at 2:23 a.m., according to the Pittsburgh homicide squad.
Homicide detectives are investigating, and asked anyone with information to call 412-323-7161.
Lt. Herrmann said the killing does not appear to be related to another Monday night shooting in McKees Rocks, in which a man was gunned down in front of a home in the 800 block of Gray Street. No other information about that incident was available.
